Our journey

The birth of a family business is often the result of a unique combination of passion, commitment, and values handed down from generation to generation. This is the story of Produlith, which has mastered the field of printing since 1981 with a speciﬁc goal: to offer its customers the best strategic packaging solutions.

1981

Paul Desmarchais founds Entreprises Produlith in a small garage in Saint-Bruno de Montarville.

1983

Lionel Loiselle joins Paul Desmarchais as a partner in the commercial printing business.

1986

Entreprises Produlith’s first move to rented premises in Longueuil on Roland-Therrien.

1990

Produlith acquires its first building and begins its move to Jacques-Cartier Street East in Longueuil.

2006

Shawn Desmarchais, representing the second generation, assumes the role of President following the acquisition of the company.

2007

Les Entreprises Produlith becomes Groupe Produlith, integrating the ProPac and Pharmapak divisions for commercial and pharmaceutical packaging.

2011

Groupe Produlith modernizes its identity and becomes Produlith

2013

Acquisition of a new 45,000 sq. ft. building in Boucherville, marking the last move to the current premises.

2015

Annick Garcin, wife of Shawn Desmarchais, becomes the first female partner.

2018

Diversification of service offering with the addition of an in-house flexography department.

2023

New complementary service offering warehousing and inventory management for all customers.

2024

Acquisition of the very first custom-designed palletizing robot.
